IDA BIANKA MATUS

She is an architect, but today she mainly deals with artistic, functional and computer graphics. Furthermore, she draws and paints. Initially, she tieds her life to architecture. But then she was already captured by graphics and the capabilities of graphics programs. For many years now, she has been dealing with 2D and 3D advertising graphics. She designs furniture and advertising displays for well-known brands. She also gained experience in the press and internet advertising. After hours, she is fulfilling herself in various fields of art. She designs interiors, she draws and paints wallpapers and pictures. DIY is definitely her thing. Her passion for creating wallpapers was born by chance while she was designing an interior for one of her clients. To her surprise, she enjoys searching, recreating and composing floral motifs so much. Each wallpaper tells a story of details. First, she draws each element. Manual drawing is demanding, but pays off. She tries different painting techniques and choose the one that best harmonizes with the component. Flora and fauna inspire her. Everywhere, she is seeking motifs – from bold to subtle, from the saturation of colours, through a delicate play of details. Depending on the mood, she composes wallpapers for both modern and stylish interiors. She has been immersed in art since childhood, it has a profound impact on her aesthetics and perception of the world. Her mother Wanda Matus was a designer of artistic ceramics in the world-famous Zakłady Ceramiki in Bolesławiec. At home, they often talked about art, they were surrounded by it, what was and is natural for her.
